Getting to know Dr. Brad Wuerfel
An in-person visit may be required depending on your treatment needs, such as but not limited to certain prescriptions. Your clinician will work with you to determine an appropriate treatment plan.
Dr. Brad Wuerfel struggled with mental health symptoms during his adolescence and has received treatment that changed his life, ultimately pushing him into a mental health career. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Meharry Medical College and completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati. He is most passionate about educating patients about their conditions and helping them understand that their diagnosis does not define them. Dr. Wuerfel believes that for any treatment to be effective, a trusting, respectful relationship must be established between provider and patient. While he always provides his opinion on what treatment he believes will be effective, all treatment decisions are made collaboratively.
