Dr. Guidry graduated from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans with a Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed his psychiatry residency training at Augusta University in Georgia. He is uniquely qualified as both a psychiatrist and a surgeon. Dr. Guidry is board certified in Psychiatry and OBGYN. His specialties include the treatment of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, sexual disorders, anger management, sexual assault, and trauma. Dr. Guidry is a combat veteran who retired from the United States Army after 25 years of service. He enjoys spending time with his family, writing novels, playing his guitar, and riding his motorcycle on mountain backroads. He is an avid martial artist with a black belt in jujitsu. He is deeply devoted to his study and practice of psychiatry and provides complete psychiatric care for patients of all ages and genders, including medical management and psychotherapy.

I felt like I had seen this doctor before, it was just that comfortable talking to him and it was a zoom appt at that. He listened, asked questions I had never thought about and I absolutely love his bedside manner. He may tell you things you may not like or didn’t realize about yourself BUT he talks you through it. I have only had one visit with him but he definitely a keeper, he is smart, super nice and a great listener. His staff was super helpful and friendly which is a rare gem these days. Seeing this type of doctor is never easy but I can promise you he is so worth you trying. You will not be disappointed and may find yourself looking forward to your next visit.
