About Dr. Brett A. Lenart
Dr. Lenart is a board-certified orthopedic shoulder and elbow specialist. He specializes in shoulder replacement and shoulder arthroscopy but treats a wide array of operative and nonoperative conditions of both the shoulder and elbow, including arthritis, rotator cuff tears, instability, and fractures. His practice encompasses both open and minimally invasive approaches.
Dr. Lenart earned his Doctor of Medicine from Cornell University, Weill Cornell Medical Center. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Rush University Medical Center and his fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, a collaboration between Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University.
Before joining Orlin and Cohen, Dr. Lenart worked in New York City for several years as an attending physician after completing his shoulder and elbow training at the Rothman Institute. He has researched and published on a variety of orthopedic conditions and incorporates the most advanced techniques in the treatment of his patients.

I had a great overall experience at this office. The doctor was attentive, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were friendly and professional.
My only concern was during the X-ray portion of my visit — I was not offered a lead apron for protection. While I trust the staff followed standard procedures, I would have felt more at ease with some shielding in place for scatter radiation, especially since it's a common safety measure.
Nevertheless, I appreciated the quality of care and would return here again. I just hope radiation safety protocols are more clearly communicated in the future.

I was seen by Dr. Lenart and his PA, (I was not able to take his name) I had an outstanding experience. From the initial consultation to the X-ray and treatment, everything was exceptionally well-organized and seamless. The process was efficient, and the team was both professional and compassionate throughout. Dr. Lenart took the time to explain my diagnosis and treatment, while PA ensured I felt comfortable and well-informed every step of the way. Their teamwork and dedication to patient care are truly commendable. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of orthopedic care!
