Getting to know Dr. Brett Sharp
I am a triple board-certified (pediatrics, child psychiatry and adult psychiatry) physician with experience treating adults, children and adolescents. I have extensive experience in treating all aspects of medical, behavioral, and developmental problems in children and adolescents. I also have a plethora of experience in both outpatient and inpatient adult psychiatry.
In my practice, I emphasize treatments that incorporate an individual's medical, psychological, social, family, and spiritual needs and wishes. I am best known for effectively treating patients facing medical, neurological, or developmental challenges that impact behavior or proper-functioning at school, work, or home.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am fully committed to patient wellness and ensuring the best possible outcomes. Seeking to individualize effective treatments and avoid undue risk, I judiciously prescribe medication along with integrated therapies. I have a reputation for treating each patient and their family with utmost dignity and respect.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I start with a thorough evaluation to understand your history, current challenges, and priorities. Together, we create a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy referrals, or lifestyle strategies to strengthen overall wellness.

Initial session: $450 for 60 minutes

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment.
You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($450).
During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
