About Dr. Brian Dawson
Dr. Brian Dawson is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon specializing in the treatment of sports injuries, dance medicine, and the biomechanics of the foot and ankle.
He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Dawson completed his residency in podiatric surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, where he received extensive training in both podiatric and orthopedic surgery. He then pursued a fellowship in trauma and sports medicine with world-renowned AO orthopedic surgeons in Germany.
As an avid runner, rower, and marathoner, Dr. Dawson is uniquely positioned to understand the needs and concerns of athletes. He is dedicated to incorporating a multidisciplinary approach to treatment. His unique method utilizes alternative exercise programs and innovative therapies to safely speed the recovery process, helping patients get back on their feet with minimal downtime.
