About Dr. Brian Huth
Dr. Huth has been practicing as a Doctor of Chiropractic since 1984, providing care in the Los Angeles area to thousands of patients. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences. He finds patient treatment and the education of future Chiropractors to be exciting and rewarding. Dr. Huth believes in educating and empowering patients toward health care and is on a mission to help his patients live more enjoyable lives. I went for 2 visits that included X-rays and adjustments. Despite completing the required intake forms online in advance, I was asked to fill out the same info again on paper when I arrived.
At my 2nd visit, a nurse reviewed my X-rays and recommended a treatment plan of 3 visits/week for 3 months. I have good insurance, but the plan included acupuncture and massage that were not covered, resulting in only about 60% coverage overall. I was encouraged to prepay the full treatment plan for a small discount - a very large upfront commitment out of pocket.
I was clear that I couldn’t commit but wanted to continue care on a pay-as-you-go basis while my insurance was still active, as I was soon losing my job. We verbally agreed to follow-up appointments, but they were never scheduled.
The care itself was fine, but the experience appeared heavily oriented toward prepaid treatment plans and add-on services, with no follow-through once I declined to prepay. Disappointing experience.

This is a chiropractor, NOT physical therapist. Though they called ahead of time to confirm my insurance and assured me he could provide PT, when I arrived they told me he was in fact not qualified to do PT and I could try chiropractic work but it would not be covered. Not sure where the communication breakdown happened but unfortunately, it did.
