Dr. Brian Opensky is a dedicated podiatrist with two decades of experience in providing compassionate and effective foot and ankle care. Originally from Glenview, Illinois, Dr. Opensky attended Glenbrook South High School and the University of Illinois (Champaign/Urbana) before pursuing his medical degree at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.
To further refine his skills, Dr. Opensky completed residency programs at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach, California, and the Department of Veterans Affairs Administration Residency program in St. Louis, Missouri. His extensive training has equipped him with the knowledge and expertise to treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions using both conservative and surgical methods.

Dr. Opensky was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me a quick diagnosis with a treatment plan for the issue I came in for. I had a short wait time, and he went out of his way to personally hand me my prescriptions and to double check my insurance info when the front desk clerk was out afterwards.

I spent less than 15 minutes in the office, the doctor barely looked at my injury before recommending orthotics (which I already had in my shoes). There was no real examine, he just looked at my foot for a few seconds... yes seconds, and sent me on my way. He spent more time telling me how much he liked Brooks running shoes than he did about my injury and how I can resolve my pain. I would not recommend going to this doctor.

Dr Opensky clearly explained the issue (status of ingrown toenail), treatment plan (short and medium term) and other helpful guidance. Procedure was efficient, effective and painless. The location is convenient and we would be very happy to return should the need arise
