What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that every client is unique and should never be defined solely by their diagnosis. In my approach to care, I prioritize open-mindedness, active listening, and consistent support. My goal is to ensure that clients feel truly heard and understood, as I consider this the foundation for delivering therapeutic and effective care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During the initial assessments, clients are encouraged to be prepared to provide a comprehensive personal and medical history, as this information is essential for establishing an accurate diagnosis and developing an effective treatment plan. Treatment goals will be collaboratively identified and reviewed during each session, with ongoing progress tracked over time. In addition, we may focus on building therapeutic skills and, when appropriate, medication management. I believe that active listening is a vital component of the assessment process. It is important to me that clients feel heard and that their perspectives are respected and incorporated into their treatment planning.
