She works with patients to develop an individualized treatment plan based on their specific needs. What is your typical process for working with clients?

Brittaney begins care with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to better understand each patient's current symptoms, mental health history, medical history, medications, and treatment goals. She uses this information to assess the patient's needs, identify appropriate diagnoses when applicable, and develop an individualized treatment plan. For patients receiving medication management, appointments may include reviewing current medications, evaluating treatment response, discussing side effects or concerns, and making medication recommendations when clinically appropriate. Brittaney encourages patients to ask questions and actively participate in decisions regarding their care. Follow-up appointments are used to monitor progress, reassess symptoms, evaluate medication effectiveness and tolerability, and make adjustments to the treatment plan as needed. Brittaney provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management services. Psychiatric appointments may include supportive counseling and psychoeducation as clinically appropriate; however, these visits are not a substitute for ongoing psychotherapy. When psychotherapy or additional behavioral health services may be beneficial, patients may be encouraged to pursue those services as part of a comprehensive approach to care.
