“The staff was very friendly! They had me fill out paperwork and I was taken back almost immediately after. The nurses asked me follow up questions and Dr. Yee saw me less than 5 minutes after. She is very sweet and had a genuine concern for my issues. She was able to treat me for 3 different things in one quick appointment. I will 100% be coming back to see Dr. Yee! ”

About Dr. Brittany Yee
Brittany Yee, M.D. is a double board-certified physician specializing in Dermatology and Internal Medicine. She joins Del Mar MED after completing over a decade of training at the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Yee graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with honors in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics. After college, she joined Teach for America, a non-profit organization committed to expanding educational opportunities for low income students, and worked as a middle school teacher in Compton and Watts. Combining her passion for education and science, she went on to medical school at the University of California, San Diego and graduated in the top 10% of her medical school class with awards from the Kiwanis Club of San Diego and American Medical Women’s Association. She completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Dermatology at the University of California, San Diego where she served as Chief Resident in dermatology.
Dr. Yee has multiple first-author publications in peer-reviewed, high-impact journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. As an active participant in many local and national society meetings including the American Academy of Dermatology, Society for Investigative Dermatology, Skin of Color Society, and Pacific Dermatologic Association, she strives to keep abreast of emerging research and novel therapies in dermatology. She has special interests in general skin health and the treatment of skin cancers; dyspigmentation, scarring, and hair loss in skin of color; and rejuvenation by utilizing non-invasive cosmetic techniques including neurotoxin (Botox), filler, and laser procedures to achieve a natural, refreshed appearance.
In her spare time Dr. Yee enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with her husband (a gastroenterologist at the University of California, San Diego) and son. She was an avid golfer in high school and has been working on getting her swing back in action.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Yee. I made my telehealth appointment through Zocdoc, which was very easy and efficient. As soon as Dr. Yee's office received the request for the appointment, her assistant immediately reached out to confirm the appointment, and to send me the office paperwork. Another email followed with instructions regarding signing into the appointment at my scheduled time.
I did not have to wait long for my appointment to begin. Dr. Yee was friendly, knowledgeable and diagnosed my skin issue promptly. She had a lot of valuable information and answered all of my questions. She is a great dermatologist with a wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Yee and her staff are top notch and I highly, highly recommend Dr. Yee and the Del Mar M.E.D. practice.
