About Brooke Falstreau

Medicine felt ingrained in my DNA since I was just a kid; I always knew I wanted to work in medicine. When I turned 18 years old, I made that dream come true when I became a certified nursing assistant. I went on to become a registered nurse and eventually received my doctorate in nursing practice as an adult-gerontological nurse practitioner. Every new educational opportunity and new position has allowed me to make an even bigger impact on my patients and their health. It was during my nurse practitioner rotations that I fell in love with family medicine. Specifically, I appreciate the ability to get to know my patients personally. I am passionate about providing individualized, evidence-based care. I also believe that preventive medicine is an essential aspect of family medicine, and I encourage patients to see me before they have a concern so that we might be able to prevent illness rather than treat it. I am married to the love of my life, and together we have two daughters. We love traveling as a family, especially going to the beach. When I get time to myself, I enjoy staying active; running, Pilates, swimming and most other outdoor activities are on my list of favorites. My favorite indoor activity is reading, and I often read thriller novels.
