He completed his surgical internship at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by an orthopedic surgery residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco. He then pursued a fellowship in sports medicine, arthroscopy, and shoulder, foot, and ankle surgeries at the West Coast Center for Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine in Manhattan Beach, California. Over the course of his career, Dr. Markman has served as team physician for the Tulsa Oilers (East Coast Hockey League) and the Tulsa Shock (Women’s National Basketball Association) in Oklahoma. Today, he remains dedicated to helping athletes and patients of all kinds regain an active, pain-free lifestyle.
