My working philosophy is simple: the patient comes first. That said, my approach to medicine is personalized, cordial, with a collaborative relationship and a touch of professional know-how. My experience encompasses child, community, veteran, and county mental health clinics. I also provide coverage for crisis houses, inpatient units, psychiatric emergency rooms, and detention centers. I am a military veteran and a UCLA School of Medicine alumnus, having earned my Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where I also completed my residency at Kern Medical Center. What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is sincere, compassionate, folksy, holistic, with a comprehensive evidence-based methodology. My patients enjoy a comprehensive medical experience including: medication management, supportive psychotherapy, interpretation or requisition of lab tests, performance of vital signs (in person), referrals to medical consultants, review of History & Physical from other providers, consolidation of unnecessary prescriptions and review of the latest novel medications on the market.

Please note, Same Day appointments will be canceled. 3) Our cordial staff will contact you to complete your health history and collect payment. 4)All payments are collected prior to meeting the psychiatrist. Disappointing experience with this doctor and office. Ended up waiting nearly half an hour for my second appointment, which the doctor clearly forgot about. Doctor was more interested in hearing himself talk in a pseudo intellectual manner, and despite being told that there was a large administrative staff, the office has been non responsive to calls, voicemails, emails. Psychiatrists aren’t cheap in general, so I think patients are entitled to a degree of professionalism.
