Qualifications and Experience
Dr. Caitlin Mahan Madden grew up learning about podiatry in southern New Jersey from her father, a well-respected podiatrist, professor, and administrator. After graduating from the Honors Program at the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, she is now proud to follow in his path. Her four-year residency program at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center involved nationally-recognized podiatrists, and included training in acute foot and ankle trauma, reconstruction of the foot and ankle, diabetic limb salvage and wound care, and multiple non-podiatric medical and surgical rotations. Dr. Madden has particular interests in trauma and reconstructive principles, but treats all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery. Dr. Madden is an associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), and is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association. She is married, enjoys horseback riding, and is always looking for a new book to read.

Very patient and answered multiple questions I had. Dr. Madden had outstanding bedside manner. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a podiatrist.
was able to schedule an appt. the day before for a matter I wanted cleared up. Dr. Madden assessed my poor foot thoroughly and helped interpret the x-rays without the patronizing oversimplification I've had in the past. She really honed in on my concerns, explaining things well and sensitive to costs for treatment. Friendly manner and good support staff as well. Highly recommend.
Dr. Madden is professional, thorough, practical and informative. She explained her reasons for what she recommended and waited for me to ask questions. It was a long wait but she apologized and explained that there was a more serious case than expected before mine (which I get completely).
Injured my foot playing volleyball in Miami right before Hurricane Irma and was unable to see a doctor in Miami before evacuating. Upon arrival in Maryland, Dr. Madden allowed me to come in for a same-day visit and saw me right away. The office experience was extremely efficient and professional; I was in and out with my diagnosis and treatment plan within 30 minutes, including x-rays! Thanks to Dr. Madden and her office staff! Highly recommend their services.
She was great, the staff at the front desk too. I waited in the examination room longer than i got to actually talk to the doctor
I was taken care of quickly and kindly. I spoke with a nice nurse for about ten minutes then the doctor came in and got to work. The whole procedure only took about 20 minutes from start to finish and I am very satisfied with the results.
The visit was awesome. I actually enjoyed going to the doctor.
Dr. Madden is very professional and has excellent credentials. She performed a procedure competently and virtually pain free. I will return to her and recommend her to others.
I went for my 13 year's old son ingrown toe nail. He was very nervous and scared. I got an appointment the very same day I contacted them. Dr Madden was really nice and easy to talk to. She made the procedure right there in the clinic and explained everything to me and my son. She is very professional and efficient. The office is a bit hard to find though. It is in a building behind other buildings on Rockville pike without much signs to direct us to the right place. Once you know where it is, it is definitely worth the trouble.
