Caitlin Staver, DNP, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing individualized, holistic care that empowers patients to achieve optimal health. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Kansas in 2023, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri in 2018, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Truman State University in 2017. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent six years working as an ICU nurse, where she developed a strong clinical foundation and a deep appreciation for comprehensive, patient-centered care. Her interest in functional medicine grew from her own personal health journey with Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism and celiac disease. This experience inspired her to pursue advanced training and earn her certification as a Functional Health Practitioner (FHP-C), a program focused on identifying and addressing root causes of illness through nutrition, lifestyle optimization, and personalized treatment rather than symptom management alone. She is particularly passionate about women’s health, fertility, autoimmune conditions, and helping patients optimize their health through sustainable dietary and lifestyle changes. Outside of clinical practice, she enjoys hiking, swing dancing, baking, camping, and reading. She is committed to partnering with her patients to create personalized care plans that support long-term wellness and help them reach their health goals.
