“From the moment I walked into the lobby. It was a friendly upbeat atmosphere. I might’ve waited five or six minutes. They called me back. The doctors assistant took all my info most of which had already been gathered online before the appointment. When I met her, she was super friendly and very easy to talk with. We were instantly in conversations about each of our life experiences and it was as though I had known her for some time. She understood my concerns about changing to a new physician closer since I was driving a great distance to a previous hormone specialist and she assured me she would have no problem, taking care of my current prescriptions. And I was able to get on her schedules immediately, which was marvelous. So now I have someone I really enjoy being in their professional company plus she’s four minutes from my house. It’s a win-win.

“Caitlyn was very patient with me and we discussed my past health experiences which lead us to an appetite suppressor instead of the GLP 1. I was very happy with this resolution. Caitlyn feared the GLP 1 would put me at a risk for pancreatitis which would not be good and I agreed. She took her time to work this out between the 2 of us and I really appreciated that more than you know.”

About Caitlyn Gumbel
Caitlyn grew up in North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (GO HEELS!) with a degree in Biology. Soon after she went back to school to earn her degree in nursing. As a military spouse, she moved several times and worked as a nurse in a school, military clinic, and in multiple hospitals. After moving to Texas, she earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas A&M University.
As a nurse practitioner, she is passionate about providing care that supports a patient’s individuality and allows them to make informed decisions about their health. Caitlyn enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, watching Carolina basketball, and spending time with her family.
