“Amazing staff! From the front desk all the way to Demi and Kim. I felt so comfortable all the staff were more than nice, and genuine vibes. Office was very clean and cozy! First time going there- and it won’t be my last!!! (Hopefully I stay healthy enough to not need reason to re visit) but if I ever need urgent care again, this will definitely be my go to. I’m so happy with my appointment today, also…there was no hassle or long wait time. Everybody was amazing and I can’t say it enough….if ever in need for urgent care I would highly recommend this place.”

This experience was tough because I came in and someone seemed confused why I had male as a gender on my insurance (I'm a trans man) so that was kindof weird and uncomfortable question to answer why when asked. I was asked my preferred name and I think my pronouns on a sheet prior to coming in for my appointment which made me feel really good, because this is often not asked/respected. When I actually came in for my appointment my full legal name was called out loud in the waiting room and the nurse and provider also came into the room by saying my legal name, so I kinfof felt like it was pointless to be asked name and pronouns when that wasn't going to be paid attention to in real life. I feel like given the gender neutral bathroom and LGBT health sign on the wall I was expecting to have my pronouns/name acknowledged/feel good and respected, which unfortunately didn't end up being the case and made my day tough.
