I was seen Friday evening. The appointment went okay. However, my prescription never reached the CVS pharmacy at Carlsbad. I even called urgent care every day for 3 straight days. I even gave the address of the pharmacy every time I talk to the staff. The front desk keeps saying she will call the pharmacy to confirm electronic delivery of my script. Sunday came and I called pharmacy, the pharmacist said still no prescription was sent. I also checked on their computer recording, I have no active prescription. The problem is that I fly back to Sacramento tomorrow. I have not received my medication 3 days after my appointment with the provider. So, I don’t recommend this urgent care at all. Nothing urgent here! Go somewhere else where the staff is more competent to ensure you get your medication and you don’t compromise your health.

Everyone from the M.A. who checked me in and did my vitals to the provider were very attentive and professional. I was made to feel very comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. The MA is a keeper. She checked my insurance and I was so impressed by how quick and efficient she was while still being so engaged with me. I was not feeling good at all and both the MA and provider were supportive. My medications were sent immediately to the pharmacy and I had a message from them before I left the urgent care of the time my prescriptions would be ready. I highly recommend going to this location.

The experience was great. But I had a bad ear infection. They sent the request to CVS wrong, so I have to wait 2-3 days before I can get my medicine. The have to call the DR, so she can do it right! That doesn't help the pain or infection.
