Dr. Carey Kim is a board-certified dermatologist who brings his half decade of experience to North Dermatology. His patient centered approach and emphasis on evidenced based medicine translates to his delivery of compassionate and exceptional care. He is currently Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology in Weill Cornell.
Dr. Kim received a B.S in Biochemistry and M.S in Biophysics and Physiology in Stony Brook University, completed his medical training and dermatology residency in New York Medical College, and subsequently completed his clinical research fellowship in Columbia University with specialty training in hair loss. Dr. Kim served as the cosmetic and laser chief and was awarded scholarships through the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the recipient of the Rising Derm Star award. Dr. Kim is part of several honorary research and dermatology societies and continues to be active in educational work through Weill Cornell..

Dr. Kim is a truly exceptional dermatologist. He cured a skin tumor I'd suffered from for two years in just one minute. The staff was friendly, and the location, transportation, and indoor environment of the dermatology clinic were excellent. I highly recommend him to everyone.

Great experience, I went in with a skin irritation on my face and Dr.Kim calmed me down and put me on a treatment plan. My face completely went back to normal within 24 hours. He was so quick to write my prescription and sent it straight away to my pharmacy so I got it right from leaving his office. Highly recommend him.

My visit with Dr Kim was awesome. Having a chronic problem and being used to poor experiences from specialists, Dr Kim was a breath of fresh air. Not only was he a great listener, he was a good communicator as well as his staff. Shout out to Lex, who made my first visit seem like I was with family.
