“Dr. Atallah was very personable and friendly. However, I had a virtual appointment which I found pretty unspectacular. I was basically told a bunch of things I already knew, with no treatment for my condition. I would think that maybe an in-person visit would be better, but can't speak to that. ”

Best experience I’ve had with a doctor in Chicago. Informative, empathetic, personal. Dr. Atallah is a Doctor I couldn’t recommend more.

ZocDoc has asked me to revise my review, so I will keep it short. I personally would not recommend this doctor for reasons which I am not supposed to apparently disclose.
A young doctor with old school bedside manner. Took the time to listen thoroughly to my symptoms and concerns; gave me clear options on how to proceed forward. At the end of the appointment, he asked me what my thoughts were, what option I was comfortable moving forward with and if there was anything he missed (a rarity with most doctors today). Highly recommend him.
I have a high standard for medical care and Dr. Atallah couldn’t be better! Great attitude, understanding and overall approach to caring for his patients.

This was my first appointment / consultation with Dr. Atallah. He has very good bedside manner and really listened to my symptoms and medical history. He was also helpful in trying to get me scheduled for a colonoscopy at the earliest availability, whereas Northwestern told me I would have to wait almost 2 months.

He is very knowledgeable and explains things in simple terms. He is also a very friendly and kind doctor which is also important. After talking to him I felt much less worried about my colonoscopy.

My tele health appointment was very helpful while office visits are limited due to COVID. Because it was a follow-up on something I had already seen him about and gotten a test done for, I actually thought I got just as much out of the tele health as I would have in person and would use this option in the future.

Dr. Atallah and his team were beyond professional and streamlined the whole process. I was in and out within 1 hr. No post op pain noted. Looking forward to my colonoscopy next!
Dr. Atallah is an excellent physician. He listened to all my concerns and provided me with care plan options based on his expertise. I would definitely recommend my friends to him for any gastro related issues.
I want to see Dr. Atallah for a colonoscopy. Initially I was quite nervous but after my first meeting with Dr. Atallah I felt very at ease. The scheduling was easy and the procedure was actually very easy. Doctor Atallah made the whole situation seem like a breeze. I would definitely recommend Dr. Atallah to anyone.
