Dr. Balog completed his residency in Anesthesiology at UCSF, and another residency in Internal Medicine at Yale University. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Balog has contributed to the field through his role as Medical Director at Providence, his service on the ASIPP Pain Physician editorial board, and his leadership in guideline development. His professional contributions underscore his dedication to advancing the standard of care in pain management.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Balog is a passionate learner and adventurer. He enjoys exploring culinary history, playing piano, and dragon boat racing. He dreams of one day restoring a historic chateau, reflecting his appreciation for timeless architecture and design.
