About Dr. Carlos Prays
Dr. Carlos Prays joined North Atlanta Primary Care in 2019 and is seeing patients at our West Paces location.
Dr. Prays was born and raised in Venezuela. He earned his undergraduate degree at Florida International University in Miami, FL, and received his Doctor of Medicine from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS.

I received interim care previously from Dr. Prays whilst my pcp was out on leave. He was very knowledgeable and informative in explained everything. My pcp has since retired and I will continue with Dr. Prays as my pcp.

Dr. Prays was very friendly and thorough. He took time to explain possible causes of each of the issues I mentioned and to make referrals as necessary. He also offered to manage previous medication for me that I needed urgently. The office was also very clean, and most of the office staff were nice, especially the MAs. I highly recommend giving this practice a try.

Literally the worst experience I’ve had. As a new patient i was excited to start a relationship with this doctor. I texted to confirm my appointment - then 1 hour before i called the office to confirm again. At all times my appt was confirmed. I traveled 25 min and I showed up 15 min before to ensure my paperwork as a new patient was submitted which it was. I then sat and waited til 3:30. I was the only person in the waiting room for a majority of the time. I finally went up and asked if Dr Carlos was ready to see me - the receptionist said she would check. 5 min later she came out and said it would be another hour! How rude- how unprofessional, and the receptionist had 0 remorse as if she has had experience doing this to other patients before. Would not recommend anyone go to this doctor. They don’t care about your time.
