About Carol Markowitz
Carol Markowitz is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of experience. She provides care for patients aged 18 and older.
Carol earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, and her Master of Science in the Adult Nurse Practitioner Program from the State University of New York, Stony Brook. Two years later, she completed a Post-Master's program to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Previously, Carol has served as a preceptor for students and as an adjunct professor at the Stony Brook School of Nursing. Outside of work, Carol enjoys knitting, gardening, and traveling.
