About Dr. Carol Tong
Dr. Carol Tong graduated from the University of Rochester in 2010 with a B.S. in Microbiology. She graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2016 with a Degree in Podiatric Medicine. She completed her surgical residency at Huntington Hospital and Jamaica Hospital. Dr. Tong is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She recently joined TD Podiatry foot and ankle doctors in Manhattan, NY in Union Square and FiDi locations. She is on staff at Gramercy Surgery Center.

Surprised by all of the positive reviews here. Surely not a good bedside manner, does not inspire confidence in any medical decisions Dr. is making, makes no attempt at initiating nor responding to small talk to alleviate any kind of discomfort, does not explain medical rationale for treating or not treating conditions. Split a treatment into two appointments when it could have been one in order to bill twice. Truly seems like Dr. does not wish to be there; I've never had that experience before. Office staff is very friendly and helpful, however. I'd recommend a different Dr.

This office canceled my original appointment and asked me to reschedule because the doctor wasn’t in the location that I booked. I rescheduled. I arrived 15 mins early for my appointment. Thirty minutes later I asked how long they expected the wait to be since I had to be back to work within an hour. I was told that there were 4 people ahead of me. This means that I would have had to wait for another 2 hours to be seen by this doctor. I cancelled my appointment on the spot.

I came here for a 2nd opinion because I was still experiencing pain and discomfort in my foot. Within just one visit, I got an X-ray, a heel lift and I felt better. Dr. Tong recommended physical therapy which I am excited for. I am on a road to recovery. Also,Kayla, who works at the front desk, is an amazing asset. She assisted in obtaining some documents from my primary doctor otherwise I would have gotten a bill in the mail. She went above and beyond in restoring the issue for me. Staff are all professional, clean, attentive and caring.

Great experience. My doctor was knowledgeable, gentle and I felt very comfortable in her care. I had an ingrown toenail removed and am very happy with the results.

I visited Dr Carol Tong twice. Her manner is very very bad, I felt very uncomfortable. She is not professional at all. How awful experience is. No recommend to visit her.

The receptionist at the front desk was so nice, patient, friendly and considerate. I wish I could remember her name. There was an elderly who came in and wanted to make an appointment. He asked the receptionist about the weather for the next 1 or 2 weeks before he scheduled. I was shocked when she kindly and patiently gave him a weather update. I myself work with the public an am nice, but not that nice. I definitely wouldn't have been happy giving unnecessary weather info.
All in all, l it was a great visit from start to finish.

They made me schedule another appointment with them in order to provide me with a specialist referral instead of just sending to me. Thus, I got charged twice from them within a span of a few weeks, with them not doing anything different at all with the second appointment. I didn’t think this was very professional of them with not being upfront about this, and would therefore not recommend them.

I was a little skeptical coming to a different podiatrist, but this doctor did not disappoint! She cut my toenails and treated my calluses. will be coming back soon!

Great doctor! will take her time answering all of your concerns! Savannah was the covering MA that day and I recently found out she is the office manager! She is so talented! Dr. Tong is so lucky to have such great staff!
