About Dr. Caroline Pham
Dr. Caroline Pham is an internal medicine physician focused on primary care. She originally hails from Southern California where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Southern California, graduating magna cum laude. She subsequently moved to New York to attend New York University’s Postbaccalaureate Prehealth Studies before matriculating into SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University for medical school. During her time there, Dr. Pham volunteered at her school’s free clinic as well as other programs around the city involving health care screenings, children’s education (with a focus on nutrition and exercise), and women’s aid. She completed her internal medicine residency at Greenwich Hospital where she continued to develop her interest in primary care. Dr. Pham believes in taking a holistic approach to patient care wanting to best support her patients in obtaining their health goals and medical needs.
Outside of work, Dr. Pham enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, hiking, yoga, reading (part of a local women’s book club), traveling (she has been to 30 countries and six continents!). Dr. Pham hopes to go to Antarctica in the near future.

The doctor practically laughed in my face while explaining my diagnosis to her. And obviously there’s limited time in the office so I need to be speedy. But I didn’t feel a sense of help from her, she barely wanted to do in depth tests for me- for her being a doctor you’d think she’d be more compassionate but I didn’t get that from her…

Dr. Pham is amazing! She really takes the time to listen and is genuinely dedicated to helping her patients. I feel heard and supported every time I see her. Her team and the office staff are also fantastic—always friendly and ready to assist. It’s so refreshing to have a doctor and staff that make you feel comfortable and well cared for. Dr Pham conducted the annual physical in an assembly line fashion. She speaks really fast and I had to ask multiple times for clarification.
I was looking to find a new PCP but it won't be here.
I came with 3-4 concerns that I communicated. Dr Pham didn't address the concerns or even attempt to find the root cause of the challenges. E.g., I have a recurring geographic tongue which comes and goes. She suspected a vitamin deficiency but couldn't explain why the tongue issues came and went on their own.
I also came with insomnia to which she brusquely asked me to consult a mental health provider. Zero empathy.
She carried a pre conceived notion that I had vitamin deficiencies as I am petite. I felt very judged. She asked me pointedly about my diet many times despite me telling her I eat whole foods - no restrictions.
As suspected I had no deficiencies except slightly low vitamin D.
I felt I was rushed through the physical with no inclination to listen and work through concerns

Dr. Pham and her team are a joy. They were friendly, flexible, extremely competent in their various roles and efficient. They were more than willing to work with my other doctors to atrain information so that I would not have to repeat labs and procedures. I felt respected, valued and heard. I had to change providers and this was my first visit. The front office staff was very friendly and accommodating, the medical assistant Tanesha took me in early and Dr Pham was 5 minutes early. The exam was thorough and I feel she listened to my concerns and addressed each. I was able to have blood work and receive an X-ray within an hour at Tully. Referring my family to this practice for sure!

I was nervous going into this appointment due to the fact that I havent seen a PCP in some time. However, everyone was friendly and made me feel welcomed. The front desk was aware of my appointment and we shared a few laughs about my ID which eased the nerves for me. John, I believe was his name, who is Carolines assistant was good to talk to and patient, which is appreciated. I didn’t know what to expect upon meeting with Dr. Pham but she gave such a great first impression. From her introduction, to providing helpful information, to listening to my needs. As we spent some time talking, I could feel myself becoming more comfortable with Dr. Pham, and my confidence in entrusting her with my concerns was growing more prominent. I am looking forward to continuously developing this relationship with my doctor. Thank you.
