About Dr. Carolyn Riley
*** WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING INSURANCE FOR NEW PATIENTS*** Rates for self pay appointments for NEW patients start $225 and up. Returning patients rates begin at $149.
In an effort to offer a more comprehensive upgraded experience for our patients, we are no longer accepting insurance for new patients that schedule an appointment with Dr. Riley.
It is the policy of the practice to collect a credit or debit card to hold appointments at the time of booking. Patients are encouraged to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours prior to their appointment time.
Dr. Carolyn Riley is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She graduated with honors from Xavier University of Louisiana where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. She completed her undergraduate medical education at Meharry Medical College prior to completing her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Tulane University.
Dr. Riley chose obstetrics and gynecology as her life’s work because she enjoys guiding women through their reproductive years and assisting their transition into menopause. During her years in private practice, she has observed a growing need to address the weight loss needs of her patients. It is this observation that has ignited a passion to practice weight loss medicine. Her goal at the end of every encounter is that each person leaves feeling a little more empowered than when she/he arrived. Dr. Riley offers weight loss and gynecologic services that are tailored to individual needs. She has special interests in weight loss medicine, adolescent health, abnormal uterine bleeding, minimally invasive surgery and educating women about their bodies and their health.
Dr. Riley is a proud member of The Obesity Medicine Association, The American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and The National Medical Association. Dr. Riley is happily married and has a wonderful 20 year old daughter and 4 year old son.
