He completed his residency in internal medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX, in 2024, then completed a fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX in 2026. Through his training, Dr. Roy has extensive clinical experience with the diagnosis and management of diseases across the entire spectrum of Rheumatology. These include rheumatoid arthritis, vasculitis, spondyloarthropathies, sarcoidosis, Sjogren’s syndrome, inflammatory myopathy, systemic sclerosis, osteoarthritis, complex regional pain syndrome, crystalline arthropathies and systemic lupus erythematosus. While Dr. Roy is interested in all aspects of Rheumatology, his previous research focus during his training was on lupus. Dr. Roy believes that shared decision-making and physician-patient partnership is at the core of medicine, including Rheumatology. He focuses on management of Rheumatic diseases but also incorporates a patient’s full clinical presentation into his medical practice, in order to provide the highest quality of care that each patient deserves. Dr. Roy advocates for the use of the newest treatment modalities and technology in order to optimize a patient’s care.
