About Dr. Casey McCloud

Dr. Casey McCloud is a native Houstonian. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Geology. She attended medical school at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. She continued her training in Dallas and completed residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital.
Dr. McCloud strives to provide patient-centered care and focuses on patient education. She offers a wide variety of services, including comprehensive obstetric care, contraceptive counseling, general gynecology and women’s preventative health care. She has completed a certification in the de Vinci surgical system and has an interest in minimally invasive techniques for gynecologic surgery. She is passionate about women’s health care and looks forward to develop longstanding relationships with her patients throughout the different stages of their lives.
When not in the office, Dr. McCloud enjoys spending time with her family and her husband, Cade. Together, they enjoy trying new local restaurants, traveling, going to Astros games, and cooking.

The doctor was cold, rushed, impatient, and lacked compassion during my gyno appointment, even after I specified my fear, how nervous I was, and the problems I was having in my health. It happened to be the worst doctor experience of my life.

The doctor that saw me was very polite and knowledgeable. She was efficient with time; however, she was quick when stating facts and the appointment itself was so quick that I felt rushed to ask questions. I had some questions written down and if it wasn’t for me asking, she would have left the room without allotting time for patient concerns.

Dr McCloud is a great doctor, friendly and takes time for you. The lady at the front desk is also very sweet.
But I had issue with billing office. I called to make sur my insurance covered everything related to an appointment with a procedure. They told me it was fully covered. One month later they send a 3 figures bill because procedure was covered but not the doctor office visit. I am fine with that, if I hadn’t check and been told that I wasn’t going to pay for anything ! So nice office but you might have to pay more that you are told

Dr. McCloud is an amazing doctor. The fear of judgement is always there especially with such an up close and personal appointment but Dr. McCloud is patient, kind and very thorough. There was no awkwardness & I did not feel rushed either when asking questions.

Went for my annual well woman exam and Dr. McCloud was pretty straightforward, just asked routine questions and performed the exam. Waiting time was just a few minutes, went in and out quickly.

I booked an appointment 4 days before my actual appointment day. I confirmed the appointment a day before and check-in online. When I arrived, they were not aware of my appointment despite my profile being on the system. On top of that, the Dr was actually on vacation. I did appreciate this experience since I drove 1.5 in traffic to come to my appointment. Very disappointing.

Great experience! I have doctor anxiety, and Dr. McCloud was warm, to the point, and kind. Sometimes I feel a sense of judgment from doctors when you respond to invasive questions (could totally be a me thing), and I did not get this vibe at all from Dr. McCloud. Also my appointment was less then 30 minutes start to finish including blood work. Highly recommend.
