About Catheryne Leon

Catheryne Leon is a board-certified Family Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care medicine. Catheryne is fluent in English and Spanish. She began her healthcare career in 2014 as a registered nurse, providing care to long-term and homebound patients. In 2018, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Long Island University CW Post, graduating with the highest distinction. Over the past six years, she has provided excellent care to patients across Long Island. A member of the Sigma Theta Tau and Alpha Eta Honor Societies, she holds degrees from the University of Miami and Stony Brook University. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Catheryne is fluent in Spanish and an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband, Michael, and their two children, Sia and George.

I needed help for depression told her my current medications not working she took blood work, ekg etc and I told her am not well she then ask for pharmacy I went to pick it up she gave me the same medication I told her was not working same dosage. She did not listen to anything I said she even had me fill a mental test! I called the office placed me in hold for 30 min then I had to call back no help!!!
