I always feel comfortable reaching out because I know this team will listen. Miss Catherine’s practice embodies the definition of patient centered care. She used her expertise and prescribed meds for me and went through a trial and error journey with me, while being kind and honest. "My style of practice focuses on holistic health with an integrated emphasis on medication management. We will work to identify cognitive distortions that exacerbate depression and anxiety symptoms, making your wellness goals difficult to achieve. We will use various therapy modalities in conjunction with medication management. I follow a person-centered, evidence-based approach to mental health. As a clinician, I have qualifications to provide recommendations regarding diagnostic clarification, psychoeducation, and pharmacologic interventions. I have over 10 years of experience in mental health including inpatient behavioral health, outpatient family care, forensic nursing, substance use and abuse, critical care, and child/adolescent psychiatry. I am certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and hold active licenses in Oregon and California.
