About Chantal Savage
Chantal is a highly educated nurse practitioner with a passion for patient care. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Biochemistry, from New Mexico State University in 2013, and was an active member of the Pre-Med Health Club. Chantal went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Mexico State University in 2017, where she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Student Nursing Association. She completed her Doctorate in Family Nursing at New Mexico State University in the fall of 2022, maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout her studies.
Beyond academics, Chantal has experience in emergency, flight, and adult intensive care medicine as a registered nurse and medic. She joined the Army National Guard in 2007 as a combat medic, commissioned as a nurse in 2019, and currently serves in the Army Reserves. Chantal’s number one priority is patient-centered care and advocating for her patient populations.
Born and raised in Las Cruces, Chantal looks forward to caring for its residents and their loved ones.

The office staff is friendly and made me feel welcomed. I liked the Medical Assistant I saw who was calm, friendly and warm. Chantal Savage was great. Explained everything to me about my health issue in a calm, friendly and professional manner. I did not feel rushed at all. I was very impressed with her and this medical office.

only thing to be aware of is asking what each provider does, unfortunately I couldn't get an IUD here but Chantel was AMAZING in helping me find another provider that does do that type of birth control.

Checked in, saw NP, answered questions, she answered any of my concerns; setup some”homework” until I see her in another 2 weeks. All I could of asked for and more. I’m pretty straightforward and she read that really quick.

Nurse Savage was wonderful. She listened to me and I felt comfortable with her. I felt like she really wants to help me. Unfortunately some of her staff members were not as kind. The first employee was rushing me and it seemed like she timed me out on some important information I wanted to fill out since I was a new patient. Her facial features and tone of voice came across as annoyed. I didn’t feel welcomed by the first employee. She had glasses and black curly hair in a ponytail.
Then I was greeted by another employee that took my blood pressure. She also had an unpleasant face. Her tone of voice was very dry and cold. The lady that drew my blood was very kind. The lady that scheduled me was very kind also. I do apologize I didnt get any names.
I’m hoping to have a better visit next time with the office staff.
