About Dr. Chelsea Heitzmann

Dr. Chelsea Heitzmann, Au.D., CCC-A, is a highly experienced Doctor of Audiology at Connect Hearing in Colorado Springs. Over the course of her career as an audiologist in an otologist's office and in private practice, she has acquired extensive expertise in hearing evaluations, hearing aid and tinnitus management, implantable device rehabilitation (cochlear implants and bone-anchored hearing devices), and custom hearing protection. Dr. Heitzmann completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2014, majoring in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. She then earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018. She is also a proud member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Her passion for family-centered care stems from her personal experience with her mother's hearing loss. Since her mother lost her hearing after she was born, Dr. Heitzmann's passion for audiology began when she witnessed cochlear implants transform her mother's life and positively impact her entire family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors trail running, backpacking, hiking, and exploring the beautiful Colorado scenery with her husband, children, and dogs.
