Chelsea Moreno is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout their mental health journey. Her approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing looks different for every person. Before becoming a psychiatric provider, Chelsea worked as both a mental health and emergency medicine nurse, experiences that shaped her understanding of the connection between emotional well-being, trauma, and overall health. These experiences continue to influence the way she cares for patients — with empathy, curiosity, and respect for each individual’s story. Chelsea works closely with adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, stress, and life transitions. She believes mental health care is most effective when patients feel safe, heard, and actively involved in treatment. Her goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where patients can openly explore challenges, build insight, and work toward meaningful change. Her clinical style is trauma-informed, holistic, and individualized. Chelsea integrates evidence-based psychiatric treatment with a focus on emotional wellness, lifestyle balance, and values-aligned care. Whether treatment includes medication management, supportive therapy techniques, or lifestyle-focused strategies, she works collaboratively with patients to create realistic and sustainable treatment plans. Patients often appreciate Chelsea’s calm and approachable demeanor, along with her ability to meet people where they are without judgment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time near the water, hiking, traveling, attending concerts, and connecting with friends and family. Chelsea provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management through secure telepsychiatry appointments in a supportive and stigma-free environment.
