Chinasa Rita Onyeje, DNP, CRNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC
She is a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is compassionate and dedicated with genuine love for her profession. Patients are her first priority and she always strives to provide personalized, comprehensive, confidential, and high-quality medical and mental healthcare that is patient-centered with emphasis on clear communication and education to empower patients on their health care path. She establishes a therapeutic alliance with her patients through active listening, empathy, and mutual respect. She is dedicated to helping patients manage chronic conditions, psychiatric illnesses, immediate / acute care matters, wellness screening, and preventive health care services.
Her educational career began at the University of Maryland, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing, then Masters degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Coppin State University, and later a Doctorate degree with a focus on Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from University of Massachusetts Global (Formerly Brandman University).

I was able to schedule an appointment in an available spot for the next day, I needed a video visit for two skin issues I’ve been having. NP Onyeje was absolutely wonderful . She contacted me ahead of time to verify the appointment and when I couldn’t use the link she allowed to me do the video chat on another platform, The two creams she prescribed are working wonders!!

I can’t say enough things abut Chinasa Onyeje , NP she is exceptional knowledgeable, kind and truly attentive. She takes her time to explain everything . She clearly answered all my questions without rushing and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I highly recommend her because, it is rare to find a provider who combines expertise with such a kin d patient centered approach.

The service experience was a 10/10. I’ve been seeing her for years now she truly is someone I will be bringing my family too. She’s more than a doctor she’s like family a second mother with the utmost care and professionalism after every visit.

I booked an appointment at this practice. The booking process was seemless. I received confirmation of my appointment right away and when it was time the Dr showed up for me on time, that was important for me since I was running against time to complete requirements. Definitely will be visiting with this health clinic again. Very professional and personable.
