About Dr. Chirag Chavda

Hello and welcome to Collin County Physicians. My name is Dr. Chirag Chavda, and I am the founder and owner of the practice. I completed my medical school at M.P. Shah Government Medical College, earning my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree, followed by graduate education at Tulane University in New Orleans. I then completed a three-year residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey, which is part of the Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health system. After receiving my MD in 2011, I have practiced Internal Medicine in various roles, including outpatient and ambulatory care, hospital medicine, telemedicine, and intensive care medicine. North Dallas has been our home for years, and we feel blessed to be part of this amazing community. I believe that each person has a unique mental, physical, and biological makeup, which should be taken into account when doctors evaluate and treat their patients. I also believe that as a doctor, I should strive to be "always there" when my patients need me. Hence, I am working toward a clinic model that provides services 24/7, including telemedicine and house calls.
