About Dr. Christine Pfisterer
Christine Pfisterer, DO, is double board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with a subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Pfisterer completed her internship at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, followed by a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She further advanced her training with a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine at Coordinated Health.
Dr. Pfisterer uses her expertise in physical medicine and pain management to help patients return to daily activities as soon as safely possible, taking into consideration their individual needs. She focuses on the whole patient and employs a multidisciplinary approach when creating treatment plans to support her patients' recovery.
She has been involved in research and has been published in several medical journals.
