About Dr. Christopher Keith McSpadden
Dr. McSpadden founded North Austin Foot & Ankle Institute to provide our community with first-rate solutions for foot and ankle concerns.
He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and completed his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Western Pennsylvania Hospital. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.
Dr. McSpadden enjoys all aspects of treating foot and ankle conditions, with particular interest in ankle arthroscopy, flatfoot correction, bunion correction, ankle stabilization, and treatment of heel pain, including Achilles tendon disorders. He believes the foundation of successful treatment lies in the relationship with the patient and strives to fully understand each patient’s goals and personal situation to offer the best treatment plan.
Outside of work, Dr. McSpadden enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, being active in their church family, cooking, gardening, water activities, and all sports—especially Texas A&M athletics. His family resides in Cedar Park, and he values every opportunity to improve the lives of those he is honored to serve in the North Austin community.

Dr. McSpadden is great but the office could be managed better. They always run 20-30 minutes late at a minimum and today they didn’t have my Zocdoc appointment in their system even though I had a Zocdoc confirmation.

He was very thorough and his staff was just as amazing. This was our second opinion visit and it was vastly different from the first. We walked out of the office feeling informed and at ease. I found and chose Dr.Christopher Keith McSpadden through a brief search zocdoc since he had good ratings. The staff in the office were professional and friendly. I was taken in at the scheduled appointment time which is a rarity in most doctors office visits.
The Dr. was very good in communicating the condition of my foot injury and did not prescribe unnecessary medications for my case.

Best consult visit ever! Was nervous about going to see doctor for my problem however, Dr. McSpadden was very compassionate and spent time explaining a multitude of topics. He explained my issue, how to treat it, medications, success of medications, and possible side effects. Will recommend he whenever possible!

I had seen another podiatrist two years ago for a version of this problem. She barely spoke to me and had me fitted for a custom orthotic (expensive). To be fair, the injury did heal. However, it reoccurred because I had no idea how to prevent it. Dr. McSpadden spent the time to provide a much larger picture of how it got that way and how we prevent it. Dr McSpadden made a convincing case that tight muscles were a big contributor to the injury in the long run, and I believe it. He gave multiple ways to help reduce the inflammation and let the injury heal. I highly recommend Dr. McSpadden.
