Dr. Ninh is amazing. I am honestly so thankful and impressed with him. I have issues with my hips and have seen SO many orthos. He was the first one that flat out said this is not my expertise I'm going to order you imaging and send you to the specialist you need to see. He admitted that there are only a small amount of doctors that can treat what is wrong with my hips. WOW what a great doctor. In the past I am not even joking I have been to 10 plus orthos asking what is wrong with my hips and they have told me nothing or I am over reacting or a wimp. I tore both of my labrums in my hips and have had reconstructive surgery about 10 years ago and am having issues again. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. You are a great doctor and I recommend that everyone go see you. He does not give you the run around and he truly does want you go get better. I am so thankful I found you on Zocdoc

Dr. Ninh is a board-certified, sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon in Southern California. Dr. Ninh specializes in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgeries and total joint replacements including Direct Anterior Hip Replacement. Working with an elite team of multi-lingual and multi-disciplinary specialists, he strives to provide comprehensive orthopaedic care.
Dr. Ninh is a native of Orange County, having graduated from Marina High School in Huntington Beach, California. Dr. Ninh's vision was to establish an orthopaedic surgery practice focusing in Sports Medicine, treating the community that he grew up in. His vision of becoming an Orthopaedic Surgeon was inspired from his own personal experience as a young athlete and patient. These experiences were highly influential in his decision to pursue medicine and further provided the inspiration to pursue excellence throughout his training. From these past experiences, it has allowed him as an orthopaedic surgeon, to better empathize and care for his patients.
Dr. Ninh is a board certified Sports Medicine Fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon. He received both his undergraduate and medical degree at University of California, Irvine. After finishing his general orthopaedics residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan, he went on to complete his Sports Medicine Fellowship training at Kaiser Permanente Southern California. Dr. Ninh's family heritage is Vietnamese. He is fluent in Vietnamese.

The office itself was extremely small and had a ton of people waiting for appointments, which led me to not see the doctor long after my appointment time. This is the biggest negative. The office staff is really friendly and helpful, communicated things and actually checked my insurance for coverage on what I needed. I liked Dr. Ninh as well, he was pleasant and knowledgeable. I plan on returning once I get a nerve test done by a specialist.

I think he should find a career he is sincere about. If it bothers him that I ask him what I should expect from my knee and if there is anything I should be careful of to not reinsure, maybe he’s not a people person.

Came in for second opinion after another doc was pushing for an aggressive hip surgery. Dr. Ninh listened carefully and got the whole picture before recommending a much more conservative approach. Which made much more sense. Thank you Dr. Ninh.

This is probably the worst I have been treated by an office in my life.
I can not tell much about the doctor since he did not even talk to me that much, but the fact that I was in a lot of pain nor could not walk did not seem to matter for the front office when they schedule appoiments. Looks like I have to wait morre than 3 weeks before my first visit and when the doctor can actually see me.
Even before seeing me they scheduled me for an X-ray exam and after that I was told that I need an MRI. That I should go home and they will call me back with the refferal for my insurance. I was in a ski accident previosly so I had a lot of exams done, so I know that my insurance is not blocking anything. I had to call back again and again few days after, more times to have them also forward my file to the Image Center to take the MRI ( which they have not done by default). Now they tell me I have to wait another 2 weeks after having taken the MRI to see the doctor for the results while Im in pain.

I came to Christopher with sport trauma. My leg was hurting. I had bruising and swelling. I asked him for an ointment, to get rid of bruises and swelling. He told me that he will send it to me by mail. I got PAIN RELIEF lidocaine patches only in TWO WEEKS. Did he helped me?- No. Do I need PAIN RELIEF lidocaine?-No. Do my leg still hurt? - Yes.

Although the exam seemed rushed Dr Ninh would address any second thought questions inbetween patients to make sure you completely understood the process. Staff also was very thorough in communicating processes and timelines needed in prep for surgery.
