Dr. Borden is up front and lets you know exactly what options you have. Also kind and compassionate and answers all your questions. I would highly recommend him.
This was a satellite office but I received really good care and attention and never felt like a number. The staff was kind and professional and the doctor was very friendly and ordered appropriate x-rays after our discussion and provided a qualified diagnosis on a professional level. I was pleased with his concern and care offered and would recommend him to others seeking medical care without any reservation.
Peter Borden MD is an awesome doctor/surgeon. Straight forward and knowledgeable. His offices are in a lovely building in Torrance.
Dr.Borden was very caring and personable. He examined my arm and encouraged me to stretch the muscle while assuring me that I wouldn't break a bone. Lol He was friendly, gave me a few options, set me up with his secretary, and ensured my next appointment was scheduled. Great visit!
Fine visit. Dr. Borden is very knowledgeable.
Doctor was running a little late but when he arrived he began seeing patients very efficiently without making them feel rushed. Seems cool too.
I am sad to say I was very disappointed. Although I was thrilled to get a Monday morning appointment when I found the site last Thursday, when I showed up at my appointed time on Monday morning I was forced to handwrite all of the forms again, that I had already completed online last week. Although the hour a half wait for the doctor is pretty par for the course these days, the doctor spent little time with me, said I needed a specific device (brace) for my “tennis elbow” on my arm used in a specific way and that the assistant would put it on for me. I was then to come back in three weeks. They did not have a device that was either functional or that fit me. (I am of normal size and weight). Once this was determined the assistant said, “OK, so we will see you in three weeks?” I said, “Really, what would be the purpose of that since I can’t even do what the doctor wants me to do for the next three week because you are not able to provide me with the brace he wants me to wear?” So I would love to say it was a great experience, instead it was clearly a waste of my time and money.
It was great! Really listened to hat I was saying and was very thorough.
Everything worked great except the fact that the ZocDoc information i had entered prior to the visit did not go through and had to fill in the information by hand at the clinic.
I wish the doctor will spend a little more time to explain the treatment being recommended, the pros and the cons of doing it. He just suggested for me to read on it.
Dr. Borden was very personable and knowledgeable in regards to my son's knee pain. He gave us great information as to what could be wrong with my son's knee and a good plan to help it heal. I will definitely suggest Dr. Borden's expertise to other people.
very professional and great office help. recommend very highly.
It was my first time seeing Dr. Borden. He was very professional and friendly, as was his staff.
Great experience will definately be going back I would recommend him to anyone with orthopedic problems.
I broke my hand while on vacation. I went to the ER, out of state, had X-rays made and discovered the fracture in my hand. They put my hand in an emergency wrap so that I could make it back home safely. I made an appointment through Zocdoc with Dr. Borden for exactly one week later. The receptionist called to confirm my slot the morning of and even jumped through hoops with the hospital to get my x-rays in advance. Their attempts were unsuccessful, but as soon as I got there they x-rayed my hand after a 10 minute wait and the doctor spoke with me five minutes later. At first he was going to put me in a split, but then he took a second look and said, "I actually want you to go to a hand specialists...I'm an expert and knees and shoulders and this is just so close to your joint that I don't want to risk it. I'm sending you to a friend of mine and we're going to squeeze you in right now." That man is awesome and saved me from a lifetime of pain. I ended up getting surgery. If he hadn't been honest and a good decision maker, then I would be giving an opposite review. He's a keeper!
Dr. Borden is as good as they come, he's caring, thorough, and intelligent. The staff were efficient and professional.
Fantastic! Personable, knowledgible, caring, .
Friendly, I'll know more after next visit.
Dr. Borden addressed all of my concerns and did a great job of explaining exactly what he thought was going on and his recommended options for my injury. Having spent 15 years working in an orthopedic surgery center many years ago, I knew what to look and listen for during my visit with him--and was very impressed.
Very caring direct and Dr Borden wants you to fallow up with your appointment quickly. If I do have to have Surgery, I fill that I am in good hands. Thank you zodoc.com for your web site! (Cheers)
I am optimistic and happy to be getting started with him. We have a plan! He came highly recommended from a neighbor so although I have spent a scant 15 minutes with him I am very confident I will be pleased to be working with him.
