“Hidden gem. Even though I was out of network, the office was able to accommodate me and do a same-day knee drainage/injection. I payed less than what I would have even with my regular doctor's office. I'm feeling better already, and everything was clearly explained. 10/10”

Dr. Ashkan Salamatipour is a board-certified Sports Medicine and Non-Operative Orthopedic physician and founder of OC Musculoskeletal Medical Center (OC MSK) in Newport Beach, California. He specializes in non-operative orthopedics, sports medicine, regenerative medicine, orthobiologics, and advanced ultrasound-guided procedures.
Dr. Salamatipour completed his Sports Medicine fellowship at Indiana University, where he treated elite collegiate athletes, including members of the Indiana Hoosiers football program. He currently serves as a professional team physician and has also worked with elite athletes in numerous sports.

Dr. Ashkan helped me a ton with shoulder pain I got from playing volleyball. I liked that he specializes in sports medicine and non-surgical orthopedics — he actually took the time to walk me through my options instead of rushing me out the door. Shoulder's doing way better now and I'm back on the court. Would definitely recommend him to anyone dealing with a sports injury.

I have been dealing with chronic neck pain for years and have tried so many things, including acupuncture, massage, and chiropractic treatments, without much relief. Dr. Salamatipour really took the time to listen and understand what I was going through. He did ultrasound-guided hydrodissection injections and also prescribed a cream for my pain. His injections and the cream are the only things that have given me real relief in years. I am so thankful I found him and would highly recommend him to anyone struggling with chronic neck pain.
