Her clinical interests include delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages, rooted in her extensive background in critical care. Ms. Hicks began her nursing career as a Trauma ICU nurse at the University of Kentucky, a Level I trauma center, gaining invaluable experience in high-acuity settings. This foundation has cultivated her philosophy of patient care, which emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based, and individually tailored approaches. She is passionate about empowering patients through education and collaboration, ensuring they feel supported and valued throughout their health journey. Originally from Nelson County, Ms. Hicks is honored to serve and give back to the community she grew up in, providing the same level of care she would want for her own loved ones.
