Unfortunately, I had the most unpleasant time with Dr. Makhoul. I think she surely is knowledgable on her field of medicine however, it was her actions and communications that were abysmal. She lifted my shirt without letting me know, she repeatedly jumped from one topic to another without finishing it, she also made judgements about my life based on my medication. I think being a physician shouldn't just be about knowledge but also about the way you interact with your patients and this was just not okay. The rest of the team were professional and did a fantastic job!

Doctor was recommended to me by a family member. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, & I'm glad I did. She was very professional and seemed to truly care about me and my needs. She is very open and direct. With all that was going on with me, she still kept me at ease and always gave off a positive vibe.

Unfortunately she was "running behind" today and I waited over an hour to be seen. When they took my vitals they didn't even take my temperature despite me coming in for a possible infection. They wrote down 98 by default. The doctor dismissed my concerns quickly and "educated me" on how what I was worried about was nothing. At the end of the visit I did not receive any kind of end of visit summary papers. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

Terrible office experience. The elevator was broken and on the 8th floor. The stairwell was locked on one side and even after calling the office would not pick up. To add insult to injury, I had to wait for over two hours before being seen by the doctor.

I showed up to my appointment only to be placed on hold as they confirmed they accepted my insurance? Keep in mind I uploaded my insurance card information days ahead for this appointment. Overall, wasted my time off from work to come to this appointment as I had to reschedule.

I was disappointed with my recent visit. It started off well, and I was hopeful given the positive reviews. However, when I asked a simple question about the cost of a blood test, the doctor unexpectedly began a long rant about how she had no control over charges. She spent more time talking about that than asking about my health. I felt the appointment was rushed, and she even began to leave before I had a chance to share my main health concerns. The visit ended up feeling impersonal, which was really disheartening considering her strong reputation. I had hoped for a more attentive experience.

Dr is very knowledgeable about treatment for people with my condition. She actually used my past test results and listened to my concerns to customer design my treatment instead treating me the same as all diabetic patients. I could tell through observation and interaction she likes what she does and her team respects her.
