About Cleo Zong Hua Zhang
Hello, I am Cleo Zhang!
I am a 3rd-generation acupuncturist based in New York City. I hold degrees from NYU and the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NYCTCM). I've been around acupuncture for as long as I can remember—growing up, I spent a lot of time helping out in my family's clinic. That experience really shaped me and led me to become an acupuncturist myself. I love being able to help people feel better and live healthier lives.
I currently work in Manhattan, NY at Apex Health clinic helping patients with daily health needs, ranging from: body pain, insomnia, headaches, , Bell’s palsy, menstrual cramps, hormonal imbalance, and digestive issues.
It is my pleasure to work with patients of all backgrounds to address their unique needs and aid them in discovering a healthier self. I work with patients to make individualized plans and check on milestones and progress for their personal needs. Because while everyone’s story might be different, we should always have affordable, optimized healthcare within reach. When you need it, when you want it.

I had a dual appointment with Sarah (chiropractor) and Cleo (acupuncture) and other than my verbose talking about myself (which I don’t generally do) both were incredible! They both actively listened, proposed a form of treatment to assist with my issues and communicated throughout my treatment. I never felt ‘left behind’ or like I wasn’t important in my journey. For the first time I’m actually looking forward to going to the doctor! I never thought I would say that!
