About Dr. Clifford Mah
Dr. Clifford D. Mah is a board-certified, highly skilled podiatric surgeon with experience treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. He specializes in new conservative methods and surgical approaches to the management of foot and ankle disorders.
After completing his Bachelors from Whitman College in Walla, Walla, WA, he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine, San Francisco, CA. Dr. Clifford Mah completed his three-year residency in trauma and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle at Northlake Medical Center, Tucker, GA.
Dr. Mah is the Chief of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Portland, OR. He is an attending teacher for the Legacy/Kaiser Portland Hospital’s Podiatric Surgical Residency Program. He has served on the Oregon Medical Board, is a faculty member of the Podiatry Institute, and the Scientific chairman of the Oregon Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Mah enjoys teaching and educating residents. He continues to provide numerous lectures for Continuing Medical Education courses to share his expertise with other health care providers. He has contributed articles to medical journals for surgical technologies. He has a particular interest in medical and surgical treatment of flatfeet, ankle deformities, and arthritis. He is also on the faculty of the Podiatry Institue.
In his spare time, Dr. Mah enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids. He also enjoys playing tennis and golf.

Dr. Mah is listed as a podiatrist and surgeon, however he refused to remove a painful plantar wart and offered to give a referral for another doctor to do it. After living in pain for months I was grateful to find a podiatrist so quickly. I was very disappointed that he wasn't willing to do anything to help. Why pay for his visit and then another doctor who will actually help? Dr. Mah prescribed a specialty compound that is only available through a special company who he promised would contact me that day. After four days of no contact I called them and they said that Dr. Mah never ordered the prescription for me. Not impressed with this doctor.

Scheduling was easy although the provider changed the date from the date I picked. At the appointment I felt unheard, I expressed pain from the boot that was given by an urgent care and the response “wear it and we’ll see you back in 3 months,” no other alternatives. I won’t be going back.

Dr. Mah took one look at my feet and diagnosed the problem right away. He explained his diagnosis and assured me that I did not need surgery; that the condition could be treated in the office. I felt so much better on the way out, both physically because my foot pain disappeared and emotionally now that I knew my condition was not serious. His assistants were very kind also; it was very good experience overall.
