“The process of checking in was efficient and the receptionist I dealt with was very nice! I was called by the nurse very quickly. She also was very nice and professional. Dr.. Holumzer came in quickly and was very welcoming. It was my first visit and he introduced himself and shared some about his background. This is the first time a physician has ever taken the time to do that. He asked a lot of questions about my health history, listened and responded to my answers and questions and performed a brief exam. I did not feel rushed at all which is quite unusual in this day and age. Overall it was an extremely positive experience and I will definitely continue to use this practice!

About Dr. Clinton Holumzer
I believe in forming a partnership with my patients and taking the time to be a good listener. I try to follow the best evidence-based medicine guidelines for testing and treatment. I enjoy working to promote healthy lifestyles and preventative care to keep you well. It is important to me to work together with you to create a plan of care that's right for you. As your primary care physician, I will strive to be your advocate and help coordinate all of your care needs. I also have a special interest in geriatrics and long-term care medicine. My goal is to provide older adults and nursing home residents with the highest-quality, compassionate care for optimum health, function, and quality of life.
I became a doctor because I want to make each and every day meaningful and have a positive impact on your health. I chose internal medicine because it allows me to establish long-term relationships with my patients. I truly enjoy the follow-up care and ongoing relationships I have with my patients, welcoming back the same patients again and again. My goal is to help manage all of your health care needs—promoting healthy lifestyles, managing chronic conditions, treating illness, and coordinating transitions between specialists, hospitals, and other caregivers. I believe it is important for every patient to have one physician who can act as a coordinator of care and be involved at some level in all of their health care needs.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and received my Doctor of Medicine from Temple University. I completed my internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
I currently serve as the medical director for both Gracedale Nursing Home in Northampton County and The Good Shepherd Home in Bethlehem.
I have been married to my wonderful wife Jennifer since 1998. When I am not at work, I enjoy helping her with her jewelry business on weekends.
