About Dr. Conan Tu

As a physician specializing in Internal Medicine for over 20 years, Dr. Tu feels privileged to help his patients stay healthy. "Being a doctor is my passion in life, and I try to care for my patients as if they are part of my own family," he says. Dr. Tu earned his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University. He completed both his internship and fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Currently, he serves as the Chief of Primary Care in Nassau County with an office in Bethpage. He is also certified in Advanced Diabetes Management, enabling him to assist his diabetic patients with the many exciting recent advancements in medications and other treatments.

He was easy to talk to and explained my test results in a way I could understand. He did not try to pressure me to use medication.
Never calls anymore ... states he is overworked and doesn't have time. Wants me to go for blood work a month before visit in order to discuss when the next appt is. Been seeing him for over 20 years and he always used to call, write messages on the portal etc. Not any more. Too overworked????
