About Dr. Connie Yang
Dr. Yang is a board-certified dermatologist based in New York City, known for her dedication to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful skin.
She attended Northwestern University for her undergraduate studies, building a strong foundation in the sciences. She pursued her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine and spent a dedicated research year at Massachusetts General Hospital, Department of Dermatology where she worked in the clinic for pigmentary disorders and served as the administrative director for Project Phoenix, MGH's pro-bono tattoo removal clinic. She completed her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident of Cosmetics in her final year of residency.
Dr. Yang is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Yang is committed to providing personalized care and evidence-based treatments tailored to her patients' unique needs. Her practice encompasses a wide range of dermatological services, from skin cancer screenings and acne management to anti-aging treatments and skin rejuvenation. Dr. Yang's primary goal is to empower her patients to feel confident in their skin, working closely with each individual to develop a customized treatment plan that delivers optimal results.
When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Yang enjoys playing tennis and exploring New York’s coffee shop scene. As an avid traveler and scuba diver, her most memorable diving experience has been swimming alongside whale sharks, the world’s largest fish.

I went to Dr. Yang for a skin check (medical) which is covered by Medicare. This definitely is a cosmetic derm place, though. The office decor aesthetic was giving 90s nightclub, too slick and pretty tacky but I was there for the doctor, not the decor. Dr. Yang and her assistant were timely, good listeners, and knowledgeable.

To start, the Perry St. office is beautiful. I felt more like I was at a spa than visiting the dermatologist! Dr. Yang was very nice and professional. She answered all of my questions (I had a lot) and was incredibly knowledgeable about all things skin. Could not recommend her enough!

I do feel this office is more interested and geared to cosmetic enhancements rather than yearly skin cancer checkups, the only reason I was there.
I'll see how it goes and visit the office again for my yearly 2024.
I cannot say I was 100% comfortable.
