“Dr. Ludwig is kind, knowledgeable and a great listener. I recently relocated to Oregon and finding a primary care physician who is accepting new patients is daunting if not nearly impossible. I was so impressed with Dr. Ludwig's willingness to work with me, to craft a comprehensive healthcare plan for the year ahead, and to drill down to discuss all of my health concerns.
What I will add is that she made an extra effort to set treatment priorities, and find available discounts to keep my expense at a minimum.

Direct primary care is a system in which patients receive care from the doctor, without insurance in the middle. Patients pay a set monthly fee to have direct access to their doctor by phone, text, and email. This model also offers improved care through same day and next day appointments, continuity of care with one doctor, and pricing transparency.
One time enrollment fee: $200 (waived for former patients of Dr. Ludwig)

Dr. Cora Ludwig has over 20 years experience in medicine working with adults. She worked for Kaiser Permanente at the Rockwood and Mt Scott Medical Offices from 2011 to 2024. She completed a fellowship in obesity medicine through the Obesity Medicine Association in 2021. Dr. Ludwig has been practicing obesity medicine since 2018. She currently holds licenses in Oregon and Washington. She is passionate about treating obesity and related conditions including lipedema, hidradenitis, diabetes, heart disease, and more.

I’m so glad I found Dr Ludwig, and she had availability within the month. She was super nice and reassuring. She checked out my concern thoroughly and explained all the reasons why it wasn’t as bad as I’d thought, provided me with a prescription for something that will help, and followed up promptly. I was able to use my health savings account card, so the fee wasn’t a problem for me. I’m hopeful my insurance will work better if/when I need to visit again.

My visit with Dr. Ludwig was amazing as always. She was able to get right to the source of my problem and help get me back on track with my medications. I have struggled with my large corporate insurance corporation for years trying to get access to medication combinations that work for me to get my diabetic numbers under control and help lose weight. Dr. Ludwig has battled for me for years with little to no ability to help as she was working under "their" rules as well. Now that she has departed corporate and is working on her own she is able to support and provide assistance the way she has dreamed of since becoming a Dr. I highly recommend working with Dr. Ludwig and wish her nothing but the best as she continues to help people like myself reach their dreams!

I have been struggling with my weight for almost my entire life. Dr. Ludwig was the first person who was interested in the entire story and, by asking questions and listening so attentively, made me see things I had never seen or understood. The fact that she is also an internist means that she can see my weight in the context of my entire health picture and that I can absolutely trust her knowledge and recommendations. She is also smart and funny and has given me real hope and encouragement about my weight future -- as well as great referrals for my general health and well-being.... and a really, really nice person!

Dr. Cora Ludwig is wonderful. She is knowledgeable and understanding. She is able to relate to her patients on a personal level which makes going to see her so much easier and comforting. I know my concerns are heard and she is going to help me get the treatment that is right for me.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ludwig to fill this review. I have terminal cancer and due to an issue with insurance, I could no longer see my PCP. I needed a prescription filled ASAP. we called six other clinics that took my new insurance and the earliest they could see me was February.
Dr. Ludwig scheduled a zoom appointment for the following morning and walked me through several options of treatment. We decided on a short hospital stay and then enrollment in hospice. Dr. Ludwig checked in on me every day, spoke to the hospitalist and helped me make informed decisions about medication, and she even made house calls. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, she genuinely cares for her patients. She listens and comprehends.
For any woman who has been gaslit by a doctor or simply made to feel unseen or unheard, this is the doctor for you. I am literally telling all the people I care about to choose her as their doctor because I know they will be in good hands.
