About Dr. Coralia Mihu

Dr. Mihu is board certified in Infectious Diseases with over 15 years of clinical experience. She earned her medical degree from Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie Iuliu Hatieganu Facultatea de Medicina. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center/Cornell University, both in New York. Dr. Mihu subsequently became a faculty member in the Infectious Diseases section at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, where she treated patients with complex infections. She led the Antibiotic Stewardship Program and actively participated in research activities. Following this, Dr. Mihu moved her practice to the Memorial City area, where she single-handedly built an Infectious Diseases practice that has grown to currently encompass four providers. She has published multiple articles in respected peer-reviewed scientific journals such as Nature and Cancer. She strives to continue providing advanced, state-of-the-art, and patient-centered infectious diseases care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In her free time, Dr. Mihu enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and baking.
