Long Island spine surgeon Dr. Courtney Toombs, a Princeton University graduate, earned her Doctor of Medicine from New York University. She completed her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital and a fellowship in Spine Surgery at the New York University Elaine A. and Kenneth G. Langone Medical Center. Dr. Toombs is specially trained in the most current and advanced techniques, including minimally invasive spine surgery, as well as robotic-assisted and computer navigation-assisted surgery.

Seemed to be a lot of confusion and back and forth about my appointment. I had one email saying one date and time and another saying a different one. I had to call to confirm. Then via a reminder text it mentions seeing a PA-C that I booked with. But during another reminder text after that it was with the actual Dr in which I did book with. When I show up they seemed confused asking me multiple times my name at check in. Finally check in and turns out I am seeing a PA-C which I have no issue with but it was the back and forth that annoyed me. I’ve been to plenty of doctors in my life and I know how many questions are asked but it kind of felt like the questions being asked were redundant and and not needed. How many times can someone ask if you have bladder issues, because I was asked 4 times in total. Was given a script for PT and an MRI at the same time with follow up in a week to go over MRI. As if I’ll get into an MRI in a week. But let’s do PT without actually knowing the injury?

Dr. Toombs is an excellent Doctor who listens to the patient and provides excellent care.
The office staff is very sharp and helpful as well. I strongly recommend them for anyone in need of spinal orthopedic care.

The Staff, the nurse and the Dr. Courtney Toombs were all excellent. It was a first time and i had a really good experience with doctor. She was very co operative, Concerned and excellent bed manner. I would highly recommend her to my friends & family
